Who's Behind It All
Our co-founders, Jada and John, first met in 2023 while studying film at the University of Washington. After working on several projects together and graduating this past summer, they started PPP to help local businesses develop their online presence.
Jada Godwin
Jada is a filmmaker who has experience in just about every aspect of production—whether it's writing, producing, directing, or shooting, they can do it all. They were the Head of Operations at the University of Washington's film production club, where they organized and hosted weekly meetings to promote local job/volunteer opportunities, teach technical workshops, and collaborate with professional guest speakers for 100+ club members. Jada also has experience running social media, having been responsible for managing the UW School of Drama's Meta (Instagram/Facebook) accounts, and having contributed short-form video content to UW’s school newspaper, The Daily, which reached over 20,000 views. In their free time they volunteer at local film festivals, acting as the point of contact for attending filmmakers and even running the volunteer staff at one such festival. Most recently, they worked on UW UTS' A Midsummer Night's Dream, stage managing a series of sold-out shows. No matter the task, Jada is willing to put in the work to make sure the project is a success.
John Weir
John is a video editor who has been specializing in Adobe Premiere Pro for eight years. He has experience editing a wide variety of media, including a redux version of a feature film that originally premiered at Sundance, a whiskey documentary series that is set to release on several streaming services, and promo videos for the UW men’s gymnastics team and a New York film festival. He’s also edited a variety of narrative short films, from a quirky rom-com about a brunch date gone wrong to a coming-of-age drama about a Somali poet. John is also experienced with editing for social media, having edited for several clients over the past two years as well as growing his own YouTube channel. On his own channel, John produced, scripted, starred in, edited, and uploaded one video per week for thirty weeks straight, garnering over 3000 subscribers, 180,000 views, and 1.8 million impressions. When he’s not curled up in front of his computer editing, John loves rock climbing, hiking, photography, and playing video games with his friends.
